DIWALI CELEBRATED WITH FANFARE IN THE MOBILE CR�CHE IN GREATER NOIDA

Three Mobile Cr�che in Greater Noida celebrated Diwali with a lot of fanfare. Toys and clothes were distributed amongst the children. These mobile cr�che are in keeping in view with the Community Development Programme of the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA). GNIDA has undertaken this programme with an NGO, Mobile Cr�che.

This programme is in accordance with the Contract Act and is aimed at the children of the migrant labourers. A setup of two rooms, a bathroom and a kitchen have been constructed by the contractors for the purpose of mobile cr�ches on the site. GNIDA is paying the training cost of the ladies engaged to work in these mobile cr�ches and preference is being given to those ladies from the families of whom the land has been acquired.

There are 100 children from the labour families whose basic education, child care etc will be undertaken through these centres. The contractors of the area have come forward to promote these centres and are contributing financially towards it.

Meanwhile Greater Noida has been considered one of the most preferred destinations by foreign investors. The authority has already attracted 7500 crores. Its single table clearances for finance, pollution, land allotment, trade tax exemption, etc is attractive and what draws the companies to Greater Noida. Competitive land rates coupled with attractive production incentives and tax incentives make Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority an attractive location for investment.

Some of the other companies in Grater Noida are Cosatec with Swiss collaboration(for production of Agro related equipments), Daewoo Motors, Honda Siel, Escorts Yamaha, LG Electronics, New Holland Tractors, The R&D Centre for Bharat Petroleum, Delphi Automotive, Daewoo Anchors Electronics (production by March 2000),Majestic Auto, Samtel Colour Tubes, Graziano Trasmissioni, Devyani Beverages, etc.
