Project Development consultants for assisting the Authority in this process.
 
Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA), a U.P. Government Undertaking, is building India's finest truly international city with state-of-the-art infrastructure facilities. Planned on a grid iron concept using the latest technology in engineering and architecture, it will be a model city of the future.

To support its efforts for sustained development, provision and maintenance of Infrastructure facilities, the Authority is at present working on privatisation of  some key infrastructure projects for the city.

Scope Of Work
 

The role envisaged for the Project Development Consultant is as follows:
 
bulletAdvice the Authority on the plan for infrastructural development, maintenance and improvement of the area based on the Master Plan.
bulletIdentification of infrastructure projects and maintenance and facilities management of contracts that are prima facie amenably to privatisation and partnership.
bulletPreliminary assessment of project viability including the nature of concessions if any required.
bulletPreparation of bid documents and anchoring the specific project through an objective and transparent process, culminating in the successful privatisation of a development and/ or maintenance project.
bulletAny other function of similar nature assigned from time to time.
 

Remunerations
 
  1. Monthly retainership on the basis of average 1.25 man-months per month
  1. In the case of successful completion of privatisation of the projects, success fees shall be payable as follows:

Project Cost

  1. Project cost less than Rs.10 crores and for service maintenance contracts
 Rs.3.00 Lacs
  1. Between Rs.10 crores and Rs.25 crores
 Rs.5.00 Lacs
  1. Above Rs.25 crores
 Rs.7.50 Lacs
  1. Out of pocket expenses shall be paid at actuals

Interested firms with relevant experience may send in their proposals incorporating the following details:
 
  1. Background of the firm indicating capability of handling works of this nature.
  1. Experience of the firm in handling works of this nature in the past, specifically privatisation proposals of roads, bridges, provision of urban basic services like water, solid waste management etc.
  1. Success achieved by the firm in handling similar projects.
  1. Financial quote (in a separate sealed envelope) for monthly retainership on the basis of 1.25 man-months per month.

The consultant shall be engaged for one year period extendable from time to time up to three years. Proposals should be addressed by 19.03.2003 to:
