MANAGEMENT CONTRACT FOR THE WATER SUPPLY AND SEWERAGE SYSTEM: REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL

Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) is responsible for overall development of Greater Noida Township. The Authority wishes to encourage private sector participation in the Management of Water Supply and Sewerage System.

In this context, GNIDA invites sealed bids under 'two-envelope' bid system (Part-I i.e. Technical bid and Part-II i.e. Price bid) from competent companies with sound technical and financial capabilities. Given below is the broad outline of the project:

	Extraction, treatment and distribution of water from ground water sources within the predefined area (Sectors of Master Plan 2001)
	Design, Construction & Financing of a 10 MLD Sewage Treatment Plant (STP)
	Collection and Treatment of sewage from predefined area (Master Plan 2001) and safe discharge of resultant effluents and sludge
	Operator to perform billing and collection services
	Ownership of assets to remain with GNIDA

Contract Period: 7 Years from the date of signing of agreement

Key Dates for RFP Document

	Sale of RFP Document: 14^th March� 2002 to 30^th April� 2002
	Pre Bid Conference (2.00 p.m): 3^rd April� 2002
	Last date of Submission: 15^th May� 2002

The bidders may be firms, companies, joint venture or consortium of companies having adequate experience to undertake such works.

RFP document can be purchased during working hours (9.00 AM to 6.00 PM) excluding Saturday & Sunday from the address given below on payment of Rs.10,000 (Ten Thousand Only) by Demand Draft in favour of �Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority�. (Rs. 200 extra for delivery by courier within India and Rs. 1000 extra for delivery by courier outside India).
