Greater Noida offers Internet Installment Payment facility
Electronic Bill Presentation and Payment (EBPP) is a relatively new concept, but has been a major thrust area in the financial world, especially in the USA. ESPP service allows the customers to pay various kinds of bills (utility, mobile, credit card, etc.) at their convenience, mainly through the Internet. Greater Noida Development Authority and ICICI Bank offer the service jointly so that the common customers can pay their installments in a convenient manner.

Greater Noida Development Authority has tied up with ICICI Bank for implementing EBPP services for collection of registration applications for new plots in Greater Noida area. Implementing this project would involve three participants: Greater Noida Development Authority, Common Customers of Greater Noida Development Authority & ICICI Bank and ICICI Bank.

EBPP Scheme : Operating Systems
The working of EBPP scheme can be summarized as:

ICICI Bank will obtain a mandate from the common customers of Greater Noida Development Authority and ICICI Bank, to participate in EBPP. This can be done online.

ICICI Bank will, every month, give Greater Noida Development Authority a list of customers who have opted for EBPP scheme.

As and when customers make the payment, Greater Noida Development Authority current account will be credited.

Role of Common Customers of Greater Noida Development Authority and ICICI Bank

Giving the mandate to ICICI Bank, accepting the proposal for EBPP.

Monthly payment of the bill through the delivery channels (Internet in Phase - I) offered by ICICI Bank.

Security
The customers who opt for EBPP would be authenticated by ICICI Bank, through unique Password for Internet Banking. Thereafter the process is similar to of funds transfer. The system is secure, with adequate firewalls and other security monitoring devices.
