Greater Noida Plans Rs 250 Crore Expo Centre

     

The Uttar Pradesh Government is planning to set up a Rs 250 crore Exposition Centre in Greater Noida to rival the National Capital Territory's Pragati Maidan, a senior government official said today.

The Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) officers  are slated to make a presentation  before the board of Exports led by Cabinet Secretary Shri Prabhat Kumar and the Commerece Secretary Shri P. P. Prabhu later this week to get the centre's nod for the ambitious project, GNIDA additional CEO Shrimati Rita Menon said.

Ms. Menon said the exposition centre being promoted by Greater Noida Authority and export promotion councils, would display a variety of handicrafts and textile products from the states besides hosting trade fairs.
