TENDER NOTICE
SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT (PACKAGE -II) 

REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL 
       

Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) and New Okhla Industrial Development Authority (NOIDA) are the statutory authorities responsible for overall development of Greater Noida and Noida respectively. 

The two authorities wish to encourage private sector�s participation in the development of infrastructure in the two townships.

In this context, GNIDA & NOIDA invitted sealed bids under �two � envelope� bid system (Part � I i.e. Techno-commercial bid and Part � II i.e. Price bid) from competent companies with sound technical and financial capabilities for the following works.

Aerobic / Anaerobic composting treatment plant on Design-Build-Operate-Transfer (DBOT) basis at Greater Noida to treat waste from Noida and Greater Noida.

Sanitary Landfill site management on Design-Build-Operate-Transfer (DBOT) at Greater Noida for disposal of waste from Noida & Greater Noida.

The concession period for both these work is 20 years.

The bidder may be firm, companies, joint venture or consortium of companies having adequate experience to undertake such works.

Further details about the project, scope of work, pre- qualification criteria and conditions of contract are provided in the Request For Proposal (RFP) document.

The RPF documents could be purchased from 25th July 2001 to 7th September 2001 during working hours (9.00 AM to 6.00 PM) excluding Saturday & Sunday from the address given below on payment of Rs. 10,000 (Ten Thousand Only) by Demand Draft in favour of "Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority". (Rs. 200 extra for delivery of courier within India and Rs. 1000 extra for delivery by courier outside India)

The pre-bid conference is scheduled on 6th August 2001 at 1500 hours in the Board Room of GNIDA.
