CONNECTIVITY
TO NH-24 |
|
To provide access to NH- 24 from Greater Noida, a 60 m wide road from industrial sector
Ecotech- III to NH- 24 is
proposed. This shall facilitate the industrial development of the
area and shall also provide an alternate route to National Capital.
The road will pass from villages Tusiyana, Khera Chauganpur,
Aimanabad, Bisrakh, Patwari, Itehra, Habibpur, Yousufpur, Chipiyana and
will join NH-24 at 38 km from Hapur. |

| ROADS |
The
entire city will have very wide roads wherein the master plan roads are from 60 meters to
as much as 105 meters wide.
The Delhi-Surajpur-State road transport bus services
has been plying through the area, connecting Greater Noida to Delhi and other major cities
of U.P. Delhi Transport Corporation has started bus services from various part of the capital to the area.
For the convenience of
the residents of the Greater Noida area, the Authority has also
started a Battery Operated Scooter Service (No Pollution) as a
public utility service. This service is available from 7 A.M. in the
morning till 11 P.M., on an hourly basis, from the Amritpuram Bus
Stand and the District Magistrate's office. Under this service, one
scooter starting from the District Magistrate's office will reach
Amritpuram covering the following areas - Pocket A, B, C, D and E of
Sector Alpha - I, pocket F, G, H, I Shopping Centre Alpha - II,
police station Sector Beta-II, Site Office Gamma Sector and Shram
Vihar. The second scooter will start from Amritpuram and reach the
District Magistrate's office covering the following areas - Shram
Vihar, Site Office Gamma Sector, Police Station Sector Beta-II,
Shopping Centre Pockets F.G, H, I Alpha-II and Pockets E, D, C, B,
A and Sector Alpha - I.

| RAILWAYS |
 | The Howrah-Delhi railway line is passing through Greater
Noida area
|
 | Plans are on the anvil to develop the city railway
station at Boraki along the line.

 | Greater Noida has already been connected with Delhi by
EMU service with stoppages at Dadri, Boraki, Ajaibpur and Dankaur and is only 35 minutes
away from New Delhi or Old Delhi railway stations.

 | RITES (a govt. of India undertaking) has conducted a
transport study to connect Ghaziabad, Noida and Greater Noida with MRTS (Mass Rapid Transit
System) Delhi |

RAIL PROJECTS |
 | Rail link between Dadri and Tughlakabad is coming up,
which will connect Greater Noida with the Eastern and Western Main Lines.

CONTAINER
DEPOT
|

Inland Container Depot has been sanctioned by the
Ministry of Railways near Dadri on the Delhi Howrah rail line, 250 acres have been
earmarked for the depot.

For Export, a Container Freight Station has been planned
in Udyog Kendra. |
