Social Infrastructure

Greater Noida City has been developed on the theme of “City of Flowers and Fountains”. The master plan has earmarked 30% of the land for development of greenery in the area. The city has organized flowing green belts in addition to picturesque parks that serve as a continuous lung space apart from improving the aesthetics coefficient of the region.

In today’s context, the working professionals look not just for a good working environment but also expect adequate social infrastructure that will ensure an enhanced quality of life. It has been the endeavour of the authority to not just create a state-of-the art office building, but also supplement it with a premium quality living environment complete with excellent residential facilities and social infrastructure like schools, hospitals, shopping complexes, cineplexes, health centres, green parks with mesmerizing floral growth and other recreational and entertainment facilities. Greater Noida, to say the least, provides for the best ambience in the whole of North India in addition to all the facilities mentioned.

The needs of the city are anticipated in the belief that infrastructure must precede development. Thus, schools, colleges, vocational training centre, fire stations, post offices, law and order maintenance facilities, other civic amenities and maintenance facilities are being provided for at the initial stages itself. Various proposals which are in the pipeline include Office & Commercial Complex, Mega Malls, Five Star/ Super Deluxe Hotel, Multi-storied car parking facilities, Multiplexes, Art theatres, Drive-in theatres, Stadium and Sports Complexes, Cultural complexes and Information and Facilities Center. Country’s first ‘India exposition Mart’ for export of Handicrafts is at an area of 55 acres.

Some of proposed special projects include:

  • Night Safari project planned on 150acres.

  • Bird Sanctuary and World Nature Garden.
